Don Powell R.Ph, M.S.

Throughout his professional career Don Powell has been involved in the medical products field, from product conception to clinical use.

Don earned a Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Texas, Austin and is a Registered Pharmacist in South Carolina.

He began his career in the pharmacy of an Acute Care Hospital and has performed occasional PRN work in hospital pharmacies over the years.

Don also spent time with the FDA (CBER) as a Laboratory Supervisor and Consumer Safety Officer. Following his FDA tenure he joined Baxter Healthcare and later C.R. Bard as Director of RA/QA, gaining hands-on product experience with biological/biotech products and cardiovascular medical devices.

Don’s experience offers an advantage to clients in that it enhances his ability to evaluate a candidate’s knowledge and experience and increases his awareness of trends in the industry from a regulatory, manufacturing and clinical standpoint.
